"Ilanga" (The Sun)
In the last few years I've been able to do some international traveling, and South Africa was the first place I went. One of many beautiful languages spoken there was "Xhosa", and I was pleasantly surprised when I learned that the language spoken by the people of Wakanda in the movie Black Panther was heavily influenced by the Xhosa language. I knew I wanted to do something dedicated to the movie, and I love masks, so I decided to do male and female Black Panther masks in my "NeoGeoTribal" style. "Ilanga" is Xhosa for "The Sun" and is represented by the male mask. Sold separately or as a pair, this series would be a nice addition to any art collection.
